We had a sad weekend...our little Lucy passed away. I knew she was sick but I wasn't expecting her to go yesterday. I took her to the vet on Friday, they did some bloodwork and we went back on Sat to get the results. Her kidneys were failing and the vet wanted to keep her for a few days to get her back stable. The vet called back that afternoon and started talking about our options so, we decided to go back up there on Sat afternoon to see her just in case she didn't make it through the night. When we got there she had already gone. It was very sad to lose my little kitty that I have had for almost 10 years but I was very thankful that I didn't have to make any decisions for her...her little body was just ready to go.

Goodbye Lu Lu

This is just awful...poor little Lucy. I remember you saying that you needed to take her to the vet Friday and I am so sorry it turned out this way. She is in a better place now...I am sure, but I know it hurts and is hard to swallow! I'm thinking of you guys...so sorry about Lu Lu!!!!
