Santa knew Matthew had to have some proper Superman PJs after weeks of him running around after bathtime with his hooded towel on head yelling "Superman!!!". He was able to take it to a whole new level by actually flying (ie jumping off the bed).
One grey December day after Christmas, we took Nate out to fly his new remote control airplane (you may recall this was on his handwritten list). Santa had a really hard time finding a 5 yr old friendly yet still sturdy (and affordable) airplane and he thought he had found the perfect model...
He was very excited...waited patiently for it to fully charge, got it all put together and set up...and it was time for take off..
But this picture pretty much sums it up...it crashed at take off and broke his tail wing. Disappointment. Nate never did get to fly his airplane, but he took it well.
