Matthew Update

Wow, can't believe I let so much time go by in between posts...I guess nothing terribly exciting has been going on!  Here are some catch up updates...

Matthew has been healing nicely...here are his wounds a week or so after the incident:

The doctor says it is going to leave a scar and that it could take up to 6 months for the coloring to get back to normal, but I think we are doing well.  It's not like he cares!

Matthew now has a regular playdate with his buddy Dylan.  Fortunately for Matthew, Dylan isn't crawling just yet so he can just take whatever toy he wants to play with and run (er, crawl).  But Dylan is bigger so once he gets the crawling thing down, he may get payback!  They are cute together...they are slowly figuring out how to interact...and occasionally Stephanie and I actually get to finish a thought/story.  It is good for all of us!  Can't wait for spring and outdoor playdates....

Matthew and I also started a Mommy & Me Music Class this week....we were pretty busy the whole class so it wasn't really a photo opp, but I think he really liked it.  He stayed engaged the whole time and would bounce and clap his hands to the songs...but he preferred chewing on the instruments.

All of these Matthew updates made me realize that I need to do his 10 mo post!  Coming right up...after a few more updates...
