I really thought we would spend a half day in EPCOT and hop the monorail back over the Magic Kingdom...but, once again, we spent the entire day there. We didn't park hop even once which turned out to be a waste of money for us...I was surprised. But the main reason was Matthew...he HATED the transportation. Any time we got on a bus or boat he screamed and tried to get out of our laps. I guess it was the confinement, but whatever the reason it caused us to avoid it as much as possible. That is one of the reasons why we also didn't do the afternoon rest time like I assumed we would (that and the fact that we really didn't want to leave our family in the afternoons since our time was limited with them). I am sure that played a huge part in his unruliness.
EPCOT day ended up being a rather eventful day....
As soon as we got in to the gate we spotted Daisy and Stitch. My kids have never seen Lilo &Stitch (yet somehow Nate knew his name) but Matthew was oddly drawn to Stitch. He stayed away from most of the characters but for some reason he went up and hugged Stitch and didn't want to let go. It was kinda sweet. Maybe he reminded him of a giant life-like Stinky.

We then go on Spaceship Earth...I know it is hard to imagine that sweet little angel face above being a monster but Matthew begins to lose his mind on the ride...afterwards I take him outside in the hopes he will doze off while Nate and Michael play with all of the games inside. His tantrum picks up....he proceeds to go crazy for close to an hour. We tried to sit and feed them during this episode but he was in full-on lay on the ground and kicking and screaming mode. It was super fun. I felt bad for him (I knew he was exhausted). Eventually he settled a bit, he ate a little and then crashed in the stroller. Ahhh...we could breathe. Until we realized that somehow during the meltdown Lambie had vanished. I panicked...I retraced the route that I had pushed the stroller, Michael went back in to Spaceship Earth to ask if anyone had turned it in, I searched the restaurant....nothing. So we held our breath and prayed this wouldn't be the final straw that sends us home early.
While Matthew slept, Nate and Michael rode Test Track and we started our walk through World Showcase.

| I look like a mess...It was a really hot day (and I had forgotten what the FL heat and humidity did to my hair). Michael and I both had to get tee shirts to be comfortable (hence my Mickey attire)...we didn't pack for Summer but thankfully I had thrown in some shorts for the kids "just in case". |

There were definitely moments I should have planned out better...I wasn't really thinking about Sunday being Super Bowl Sunday. So, in the afternoon, the park pretty much cleared out and we walked on to most everything (probably should have been in Magic Kingdom to take advantage of it). So we hit up The Land, Imagination (I remember this ride and the play area afterwards being better before?), and the Nemo ride...and then enjoyed the best part of that attraction - Turtle Talk with Crush - for a while. It was really cute...Nate laughed the whole time.

Then it started raining...so we took shelter for a bit and then rushed back to World Showcase for Dinner in Japan.

Dinner ended just in time for us to watch the Laser/Firework show...and then we called it a day. And the miracle of all miracles is that Matthew asked for Lambie once that night...and to this day he has yet to really react to him no longer being with us. If I'd known it would be that easy to let him go I would have done it months ago! Stinky, on the other hand, might be a different story....but I will never look at that giant silver ball without thinking of our dearly departed Lambie.

No way...not Lambie?!?! That would have been the end of us. You skimmed by on that one. And BTW, I am so jealous of your pics. I need a serious tutorial!
